What do you want to do before you die?

by Rob on January 11, 2010

Very cool. What’s your list?

Ours is up on the wall in Esc HQ and growing fast.

To enter this week’s competition (Monday 11th Jan to Monday 18th Jan) write your own mini-list of three things you want to do before you die in the comments box below.

The most inventive and exciting mini-list (decided by our impartial panel of judges) will win their ticket next Monday.  [Don't let this competition stop you from buying your ticket this week!  If you win we'll give you a refund.] ;-)

NOW CLOSED -- congratulations to Josh for winning his ticket

1 – own a double decker bus

2 – sky dive (solo)… pull the shute myself

3 – own a parrot and teach it to talk

3 things I want to do before I die:

1. The Seven Summits (if that can’t count as one thing then Climb Everest)
2. Ski to South Pole (even if only the last degree)
3. Teach/help others to save lives (in the wilderness or their own high street, cos you never know when that first aid lesson may come in handy)

You can count me inspired, Sarah. But only being 3 years your younger I am not sure it counts…

“I would rather be ashes than dust!
I would rather that my spark should burn out
in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry-rot.
I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom
of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet.
The function of man is to live, not to exist.
I shall not waste my days trying to prolong them.
I shall use my time.”
