Congratulations to Pippa who was front and centre in the The Times Newspaper on Saturday talking about her experience of starting a business on a shoestring.
“With lots of people being made redundant or feeling unhappy at work, and young people coming out University feeling frustrated by not being able to get the job they want, there is a greater number of people thinking about creating their own start-up”.
“I approached people interested in my idea to see if they would invest at an early stage in exchange for services. I pitched to a branding agency who was willing to take a risk, as well as friends and family. I also entered competitions as there are lot of companies who offer support to young businesses”
