We were talking at Escape HQ about how we’re all spending Valentine’s Day tomorrow, and I wanted to remind you about a great option in central London.
Whether you’re planning to celebrate February 14th as a day of love, or choosing to ignore the commercial conspiracy perpetuated by Hallmark, I wanted to share some info that I hope you take advantage of.
You know those non-romance romances? Someone you’ve been flirting with where it’s not quite friend-zone territory but not quite datey-datey yet either? Let’s call it Your Unofficial Love Interest.
Maybe you have one, maybe you don’t. But when Ellie from Adam Street Club told me about the evening they’re planning down at the club, it clicked to me that I should somehow share this info with those of you who might be looking for an excuse to spend more time with Your Unofficial Love Interest.
As she described the evening, I thought it sounded like the perfect group date or ‘casual’ date or non-date date.
One question: what does this have to do with escaping the city?
Quitting your job is huge. It takes a lot of confidence to believe that you’re going to be able to survive without a paycheque, that you’re going to create a path for yourself separate from the one that’s been dictated to you.
Big steps start with baby steps.
Any baby step you take in any area of your life, eventually strengthens you when it comes to taking the big steps.
So if any of you are looking for an easy way to take an easy baby step, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity.
Here’s the description:
If you dread the thought of being squashed in a crowded restaurant with an overpriced set menu, surrounded by couples being sickeningly nice to each just because it’s Valentine’s Day, come check out Adam Street Private Members Club instead for fun and cocktails…
